The vessel Ocean Nova was stranded around Marquerite Bay near the Argentine research station last week. Fortunately no one was seriously injured. Passengers were transferred to the Clipper Adventurer. After almost 2 days, the ship was finally freed and appeared to have no significant damage to the hull. The Ocean Nova is considered a smaller expedition ship, carrying just 64 passengers and 41 crew. We do not offer this particular ship as one of our options for Antarctica cruises.
